Please arrive a few minutes early to your first appointment in order to complete paperwork. Your initial session will begin with a review of paperwork. Please bring your insurance card and information; a copy will be made of these materials. Once forms have been completed and copied, Dr. Rogers will engage you in a conversation about what brings you into therapy, what your goals are, and what you would like to focus on in treatment. The initial session typically lasts around 50 minutes. During the initial assessment, you and Dr. Rogers will determine whether or not there is a good fit between you both. As therapy is a journey between two people, it is important that both feel comfortable, safe, and productive from a change point of view.
